Planning for the 79th Newport to Ensenada International Yacht Race is underway.

Your comments have helped shape our discussions and planning as we focus on improving several key aspects of the race, including:

• Streamlining the Mexican immigration and check-in process
• Improving the scoring, results posting and simplifying trophy presentations
• Creating more and better, racer focused festivities in Newport Beach and Ensenada

Even though some of our objectives are in large part controlled by the Mexican federal government, we are working on better cooperation and possible alternatives to these issues.

There is a great deal of work ahead, but we are committed to making thoughtful improvements every step of the way. We will continue to listen, communicate openly, and share our progress as plans for N2E 2027 move forward.
