Have your found a crew yet?
I have sailed 43 consecutive N2E races, including 16 as skipper of my Cal 25, in which I have taken several trophies, including 3 firsts in class and 1 first overall in ’03, beating over 450 boats on handicap. As skipper, I sailed a dry boat – cervezas are for after the race (unless the skipper says otherwise). I can drive, navigate, and trim spinnaker, genoa and main. I am looking for a boat of racers determined to get to Ensenada, and have a good time doing it.
I also have a crew member from my boat that wants to go to Ensenada. He speaks fluent Spanish, can trim sails and is an “iron man” when driving a boat at night. On one N2E race that we did, while sailing a J-105 in rough weather he drove the boat for over 5 hours that night through the wind and rain.
I am Senior Staff Commodore of South Shore Yacht Club, Vice Commodore of AOCYC and Staff Commodore of YRU. Looking forward to this year’s race. Thanks in advance.
